Part 3

20^th November

Well, yesterday, when I was fast asleep, I felt someone’s arm around my waist.

I turned around and saw Eugene lying beside me.

He kissed me on my forehead and said that he’s sorry.

I turned back to my sleeping position and smiled, I was too tired for an argument, I slept sweet and sound yesterday.

I woke up in the morning finding that this was not a dream, he asked for apology, but I said nothing and got up to the bathroom.

When I was brushing my teeth, he kept seeking for my apology; I threw him his toothbrush and toothpaste, giving him a hint to brush.

After brushing our teeth, I turned to kissed him on his lips and pushed him out of the bathroom for a shower.

After taking a nice bath, we went next room to meet with Gerine and Derrick.

They were still asleep.

So I phoned Gerine’s.

She woke up and opened the door for us.

I saw Derrick’s still asleep. They must had had a long night kissing and telling each other their stories while I was in bed sadly sobbing in my heart.

We left them for their own sweet time and Gerine promised to meet us at noon.

It’s around 10 in the morning, so we went to a bakery for bread to fill our stomach.

After eating, Eugene and I stroll outside.

I love the air out there, nice and cool.

We linked arms and said nothing while walking.

He suddenly kissed me on my cheeks and said sorry.

I forgave him and said “Never mention about it again.”

Gerine and Derrick finally met up with us around 1pm.

They looked sweet hand in hand.

We headed for a quick lunch at somewhere we thought would be cheap. But, still we ended up bankrupt.

Gerine wanted to go for those outdoor games which include some off –to –air thingy.

I refused to play. I will feel real sick after playing those things.

They failed persuading me; I captured some videos of them on the “air”.

We played some indoor games too.

I love that flying coaster most.

I found that haunted house was as boring as my last visit when I was around 13.

We played bumper car which entertained me most.

I hope to get my driving license next year.

We finally got bored with those games.

Gerine and Derrick said it’s a waste in the 4D motion cinema.

Yeah, I thought so.

The movies were always boring and were not as scary and fun in Singapore.

We went in separate ways, coz we would like to have our own sweet time.

I went straight back to the hotel, then I remembered dad.

I phoned him and told him that everything’s fine.

He warned us not to do anything that would cause bad in our lives.

I don’t mind that he kept saying that.

It’s an advice, for my bright future.

Then, Eugene and I ducked in the bed for some rest.

We woke up in the evening.

After changing, we dashed to Coffee Bean to meet up with Gerine and Derrick.

We ordered a cup of mocha and with the help of buns to fill our stomach.

Gerine ordered my favorite cake and we shared it as a dessert.

We then went shopping.

It’s quite a place people go.

There were loads of people in the mall.

We bought nothing, as there’s nothing that’s attractive.

Gerine and Derrick left us and went back to their room for a rest after some windows shopping.

I suggest strolling outside again for a better air.

There’s smoke everywhere in there.

I love the condition out there.

Cool breeze.Ahhh…

I‘ll miss it.

It’s okay, coz we’ll be going to Cameron Highlands tomorrow.

21^st November

I love this place. It’s cooler than Genting Highlands, maybe it’s because there are more trees planted here.

Loving it!

We arrived in the evening and checked in, into a room without fan and air-conditioner.

We kept the windows opened all the time when we were in the room, for some natural air.

We finally settled down by dinner time.

We walked to a night market nearby for food.

We bought steamed sweet potatoes and prawn crackers.

Paradise! No more breads and buns. The most important thing is cheap and delicious food.

We went for a stroll together.

We kept making fun of Derrick’s silly act.

A girl around our age was selling steamed, sweet potatoes; Derrick went and asked her “Aunty, how much for a packet of potatoes?”

The girl’s mom then told Derrick that that’s her daughter and reminded him not to call teenagers “Aunty” again.

After some walking, we headed back the hotel for shower.

It’s damn cold shower, because they don’t have a heater.

We were all freezing after taking our shower.

We cuddled in our beds.

No TV, sigh*

22^nd November

We visited the strawberry’s farm and bee farm.

We bought fresh and tasty strawberries and tasted high quality’s honey.

They had strawberries with frozen honey too, which taste real good.

Yummy!

We decided to stay longer, maybe a day or two, just for more cheap and fresh strawberries.

We had salad as dinner.

We bought some fresh veggies at the night market.

Easy work to do, and the most important thing, to serve.

23^rd November

We went to a tea farm.

They do not just have good tea; they even planted grapes and apples in the other part of the farm.

We bought some tea.

This farm is huge.

As we went in the afternoon, the sun shone like a fireball.

Hot and humid.

We felt uneasy and went back to the car for some air-cond to cool us down.

We went to the cactus farm near our hotel.

It’s boring, coz I’d never love watching plants.

All we see was just plants, plants and plants.

We bought some steamed corns, steamed potatoes and honey-strawberries for dinner.

We packed our bags coz we will be leaving for Bukit Merah tomorrow.

24^th November

I was so excited to try all the games tomorrow.

I always did when I get to Bukit Merah.

Since we had had our dinner at the Perhentian for Nasi Kandar which cost us about

RM10 each with water.

Cry for my money!!!

So I budget myself not to spend over RM50 for the expenses of rest of my trip.

It’s a smart idea for not changing Sing. Dollar to RM.

That would be heavy and unsecured.

We slept early for the excitement waiting for us tomorrow.

25^th November

We got up and had tea with bread as breakfast.

We hurried to the pool site and rented equipments needed.

We played so much of water sports and stopped when it’s around 2pm.

The sun’s too hot.

We all applied sun blocks and ate some Sardine buns.

They were just nice with a can of cold Nescafe.

It’s super fun playing all those games.

We shared fried rice and fried noodles which are the most cheap and inexpensive food here, together with a packet of Nasi Lemak.

We had fun singing just now.

Of course with Derrick playing his guitar.

27^th November

We finally had our sport shoes on for a jungle trekking in Perlis.

After trekking, we sat for picnic near the waterfall at Bukit Ayer Recreational Forest Love.

It’s good having a day close to nature.

We took several pictures there.

For a change, we picnic with a bag full of biscuits, bananas, guavas, apples and sandwiches!!!

Together with a thermos of hot tea.

We drove pass some paddy fields on our way here.

We live in a small resort, but it is quite comfortable for a room of 4.

We were so tired and found ourselves fast asleep as we reached our pillows.

I managed to write awaking by some noises.

28^th November

THAI!!!

Here we are.

This is my first time in Thai.

Those foods are more to spicy.

They are delicious, but too spicy, my tears can’t stop rolling out and I can’t stop coughing.

We decided to travel around Thai tomorrow, so Eugene can get some rest after a long time of driving.

30^th November

I was too tired to write yesterday.

But we had a great day shopping.

Gerine bought clothes and a pair of walking shoes.

I bought a pair of slippers.

Eugene bought us a pair of necklace, while Derrick bought some music books and CDs’.

I love that necklace.

It’s a 3D heart shaped with fake diamonds on it.

Mine’s pink and Eugene’s blue.

The heart can be opened to put something small.

Communicating’s a problem here.

We found it hard to buy even a bottle of water here.

We are going back to Penang to fill our wallet.

2^nd December

We reached Penang around midnight.

I am currently staying at Eugene’s.

Sleeping in with guys, yuck!

Especially Eugene’s bro, Neil.

He’s a nuisance, as always.

Making fun of Eugene and me.

I HATE HIM!!!

I wonder why there’s so much difference between Eugene and Neil.

Are they brothers???!!!

He took my personal stuff and mixed them up with Eugene’s.

DAMN embarrass when Eugene asked whether they are mine.

Had a lovely dinner.

Eugene’s mum’s a great cook.

Penang style, I just love it.

Gerine and Derrick stayed in G hotel.

They wanted to stay in Penang for 2 days.

So, I planned for shopping and movies tomorrow.

3^rd December

We bought lots of DVDs which we thought they will be good movies.

We hurried back to Eugene’s to watch those DVDs.

We only manage to watch 4 movies today.

2 Horror, 2 Adventurous, Comedy and Romance.

If we continued watching, I think to DVD player will turn too hot and shocked.

We missed lunch time.

We filled ourselves with bread and junk foods to pass our lunch time.

Gerine and Derrick stayed for dinner and went back around 9pm.

Neil’s fell on his own trick again. HAHAHAHA…

HOW I HATE HIM!!!

I was having a chit-chat on the balcony with Eugene, he appeared with his girlfriend, Serene.

Serene and I had known each other since high school.

Neil’s only 16. He’s with a girl a year older than him.

It’s nothing actually.

He “accidentally” spilt his coffee on my thigh.

Luckily it’s a cold one.

He asked Eugene to lick it.

EEEEWWW…

Can he think of something more disgusting than this???!!!

I felt like killing him.

Serene pinched him in the nick of time.

She pulled his ear and said” You dare to lick if it’s me?”

He cried in pain.

Serve him right, he need a girlfriend like Serene to teach him lessons.

After that, he went for a movie in the living room and left Eugene and I alone.

I played with his fingers.

I like long and neat fingers, just like Eugene’s.

He spoke in quite a tone” I wonder how many guy’s fingers had attracted you?”

Playfully, I said” More than a 100.”

He bent over and bit my lips. It hurts, of course!

I smacked hardly him in return.

We kissed after having a stupid but harmless argument.

It’s like this:-

“What the…!” I cried when he bit my lips.”

“Well it’s a punishment.”

So I smacked him as hard as I could.

“Hey, Stop! What’s all this?” he stopped me by taking my hands.

I smiled evilly and said” Well, it’s a punishment too”

Then, we kissed.

After that, he said” Don’t you ever dare to look at other guy.”

Kakaka Kakaka…I felt very happy that he said that.

That’s the way he show his love, trough jealousy.

4^th December

We went to Yamaha in a mall.

Gerine and I dashed to the guitars’ at high speed as we reached the shop.

They are such a beauty.

But, Derrick’s unique with back and white thick lines on his guitar.

Derrick bought some Elvis limited edition’s CDs.

Gerine and Derrick planned to stop in Johor before leaving for Singapore.

So we will be traveling to Johor tomorrow.

We have to sleep early for an 8-10 hours drive.

Hopefully, Neil’s not back now.

Nite.

Part 2

14^th November

After a whole year of study, I’m now on my own sweet time.

Gerine and I planned to travel in Malaysia and Thai.

At first, I planned to visit Eugene on December’s holidays, but now I changed my plans.

I should travel along with Eugene.

We finally planned to go islands, enjoy others culture and buy ourselves some cheap things in Thai.

Gerine and Derrick would love to join us too.

It’ll be a great holiday.

I told Eugene my plans and he agreed.

He’s been stressed out of his exam and now need a rest.

We’ll fly to KL and meet on 16^th of November.

17^th November

We had a great time shopping in KL- Mid Valley.

Gerine and I bought loads of cosmetics while the guys bought some electronic gadgets and some outfits on Sales.

To travel on budget, we ate instant noodles with fruits since we got to KL.

For goodness sake, we will be moving on to Pulau Redang tomorrow morning.

It’s fun being with your love and your best buddies.

18^th November

I love this island.

The food there is more affordable and delicious.

Gerine and I went for a swim while the guys keep an eye on our things.

After that we go for a dive.

Derrick troubled himself when diving.

He kept coming up to the surface while we were enjoying ourselves with fishes and beautiful corals.

Gerine kept laughing at him and joke to him that he need an oxygen tank.

We then fed those fishes, some bit our fingers.

Ouch.

Gerine applied sun block for Derrick when he finally gets sunburns.

This guy’s lack of outings!

Eugene praised himself after dinner time when we were both left alone in the resort while Gerine and Derrick went to the beach for a romantic night-light.

He was proud not being Derrick.

I felt lucky too, not having Derrick’s kind of boyfriend.

He cuddled me with his strong arms and we lie on the cozy bed and watch TV.

After a kiss goodnight, I sneaked out to write.

Hahahaha.

19^th November

We are now at Genting Highlands.

We had to take 2 rooms in the first world hotel.

It’s damn squeezy in a room for 4.

We decided to have a chit-chat as we arrived in the evening and play those games next morning.

We chose a tea restaurant to chat.

We played a prank on the waitress, coz she looked so annoyed when we ask her for more tea.

Derrick’s good at playing pranks.

She served us hot tea then we poured it into an empty bottle then poured cold water in the tea pot then raced to that waitress and asked her about it.

She denied it definitely, but another waiter changed the tea for us so they wouldn’t get fired.

We laughed so much until I spilt some tea on Gerine’s T-shirt.

Derrick then accompanies Gerine back to the hotel to change.

Eugene said” At least he’s god at playing pranks.”

I said” And guitar too!” Reminding him.

They took about half an hour to meet us at MC Donald.

Their cheeks were red like ripe apples.

They said they lost their way, I’m not a dummy, certainly, I don’t believe it.

Eugene forced them for the truth.

Derrick finally told the truth that they had been kissing in the room.

Kakakakaka*

Very French style!

Eugene joked” Don’t kiss too much. You’ll both have your tongue tied one day.”

-. - Not funny after all.

Derrick took that quite seriously and asked “Really?”

Eugene made up a story of a French couple French kissing too much and had their tongue tied together.

Gerine and I giggled when Derrick looked worried.

Dummy, believing in this kind of story.

Eugene and I told our story and Gerine and Derrick told us theirs.

Recalling, it’s such a bad time between us.

I hide our relationship secretly from my dad.

He found out when we had an argument coz I was always online.

I told him the truth, at first, he did not accept it.

But after Eugene’s mom came over to convince my dad, my dad finally gave us a permit,

With some rules to deal, of course.

The main one, NO PRE-MATEL SEX.

Derrick and Gerine were amazed on how we keep on.

Derrick said he’d suffer if he cannot see Gerine for months.

Yeah, that’s what happened to Eugene and I when I‘d to keep moving.

At first, we always had one of us crying through phone telling how we missed each other,

But we knew we had to trust each other to make our relationship strong.

We studied hard to show our parents that our relationship will not affect our studies.

Gerine asked how we got together.

It’s so stupid recalling this, but still it’s sweet.

Eugene, who loves sending codes, sent me this message one day,

770, 880, 1314,520.

I cannot figure out by using our codes, blankly, I replied” New codes?”

“Yeah.”

I finally figured it out when he told me the night after.

Derrick played us songs in the room. He said Gerine accepted him through his singing.

I asked him to play that song he sang for Gerine again, he said he’d forgotten the words, coz he just made it out.

So I suggested another song from hi confessing his love towards Gerine.

He finally made up a song call “Living with Love”

I love it. I lied on Eugene’s arm and listened to every word he sang, pure, meaningful and so romantic.

I asked him to write that song for me after he sang it. He wrote it, here’s it.

Eugene pinched me so hard until tears roll in my eyes when I was having my mind on Derrick’s song.

I cried in pain. Derrick stopped his song.

Gerine and Derrick looked at me full of curiosity.

I stern at Eugene, and asked him why did he pinched me.

He made a face and said” Why are you looking at him?”

He meant Derrick.

“What?” I asked blankly.

He answered roughly” You were looking at him just now!”

“I’m not!” Yeah, I’m sure that I wasn’t.

“Then, what in the world you were looking at?”

“His fingers larh! Dummy!”

By then only I get what he jelous was about.

He looked at me, with an “I DON’T BELIVE YOU” face.

However, I said” Never mind. Derrick, please keep on playing.”

Derrick looked worriedly at Eugene and me, so do Gerine.

I told them” He’ll get over it.”

By then, Eugene had gone out of the room.

Derrick stopped playing and asked me to go out with him.

I refused at first, but Gerine kept on persuading me and said she wanna have some time with Derrick. Well, I thought, I’ll go, for them.

I finally found him at the corridor. He’s staring at something blankly, but I knew he was thinking of something.

I walked behind him quietly; I hugged him, as soon as I walked near him.

He turned to look at me for a few sec, then turned his head back and continued staring.

Stupid! I thought.

But I continued lying on his back. He still remained silence, impatient; I walked back to our room.

He didn’t follow. I was quite sad about it.

Gerine cheered me up a bit with a cone of chocolate ice-cream which she bought while I was away.

She shared her cone with Derrick.

I should had been doing that if Eugene was with me.

Then, I went back to my room.

Sadly, I leaned over my pillow and licked my cone of ice-cream and watched some TV programmes to stop myself from thinking of Eugene, but I couldn’t.

Part of her life.

12^th June

Today’s my first day of transfer to TEMASEK ACADEMY.

I followed dad here to Singapore, since mom’s death, everything had changed,

Dad and I were always moving.

I hate making new friends then loose them.

But I had no choice; dad is the only one I have now.

I hope there will be a change this time.

I was not nervous this morning, since I had already transferred 8 times.

A friendly girl name Gerine came and spoke to me in class.

She’s my first friend in Singapore.

I started to change thoughts towards Singaporeans.

We didn’t chat today.

It’s weird for him not calling me.

16^th June

Gerine asked me into Sport Excel.

Sport Excel is a Sports Scholarship Programme in Temasek Junior College that provides a platform for students to be groomed into leaders and it is intended to equip them with relevant skills to put them in good stead for scholarships applications.

As a part of scholarship, students will also receive $ 250 - $800 and will have their school fees reimbursed.

Joining Sport Excel can be a great help to dad.

I can lighten his burden then.

So I asked for dad’s permission and he agreed.

I’m in.

We chatted on MSN.

He acted real cold, I felt his temper.

18^th June

First day training

The programmes are normal, not too hard as in Penang, my hometown.

Gerine introduced some other team mates to me.

They don’t look at the same age as me. To me they look younger than their real age, even the captain too.

I get to know this guy, Royce, as his Chinese’s name is the same sound of ‘ji xiong’ which means chicken’s breast in Chinese.

I had a great laughed at his name.

The captain’s Chinese name’s ‘zhong4 yao 4’ which mean important in Chinese.

Kakaka* laughed.

A HAPPY DAY, but not with him.

We can’t call each other often, coz of the bill it’ll cause for both of us.

However, I called him today trough I-talk.

He told me something, real strange.

He said people I his school teased him to have a long- distance girl friend.

Well, this never happened.

We had been together for 2 years by now.

We met in Penang when we were small.

Been best friends and now couple.

Nobody ever said anything about our relationship, including his and my friends.

This relationship is tough for us, because I can never be at somewhere long.

My friends always admired how we handled our relationship so well.

He sound depressed on the phone, we haven’t seen each other for months now,

He said he missed me, me too.

I told him about Royce and captain, he forced a laugh.

I told him not to worry; I’ll visit him in Penang after his SPM.

As for me, in Singapore, the Biggest exam’s next year, when I am 18.

I asked him to concentrate on his studies now, and not to be influenced by others.

He listened quietly.

We ended our talk when his mom asked him to help her on the TV.

30^TH June

I had been studying and rushing my assignments like hell last week.

I met a guy while I was doing research with Gerine’s help at the school’s library.

He’s quite a charm.

I accidentally knocked him over with a pile of books.

He helped me picked up those books and asked if I ‘m new here.

We introduced ourselves and shook hands.

I felt embarrassed when a loud “THUMP” cracked in the library floor, and everyone in the library’s looking at me with a curious face.

His name’s Frederick.

He said I could either all him Fred or Derrick.

I prefer Derrick; I told him that calling him Fred is like calling him a frog.

We had a great laugh on this.

Gerine told me more about Frederick.

She seems to know much about him.

I had a feeling, that Gerine adores Derrick.

I’m a sensitive girl.

I can feel this when she’s talking about him.

1^st July

I asked Gerine about her feelings towards Fredrick.

At first, she wouldn’t tell me, but after telling her my lips are sealed,

She told me.

I asked why she adored him so much.

She said when she first saw him holding his guitar singing in the music room, her heart fell on this guy on the first sight.

Wow! I thought, Derrick’s a guitarist, I adore guitarist too.

But Gerine’s type of adore is much closer to the word LIKE.

I began to think of how to help Gerine out.

I now had a PERFECT PLAN on my mind.

18^th July

I met Derrick at the library again, this time’s more embarrassing.

I stepped on his foot & he cried out loud.

There comes another curios looks on us.

We finally settled down out of the library.

He led me to the nearest bench.

His eyes were full of pain.

But I can’t stop giggling his expressions on his face.

Suddenly, his books dropped from the bench and they dropped on my feet.

Poor me, even the books are seeking for revenge.

I suddenly felt that we could only meet in such painful and embarrassed way.

We exchanged phone numbers then went for our own business.

I called Gerine when I first got home.

She yelped at me.

She said if she had ever met someone she has an eye on; she’ll never go near him again.

As for me, it depends.

I gave her his phone number, she sounded a little jealous through the phone, so I told her not to worry about me snatching Derrick from her.

I told her Derrick’s not my type.

I talked to him about Gerine after that, but I didn’t mention about Derrick.

31^st July

Today, I began working on my plans.

I invited Gerine and Derrick to celebrate my birthday with me on the 8^th of August.

We decided to skip school on that day, and then fly to Penang the night before the day.

I‘ll be their tour guide in Penang for our 3 days 2 night’s trip.

I told him that my friend and I’ll go to Penang and will reach the airport around noon.

He said he had classes that afternoon, so he’s not able to pick me up.

Never mind to me.

We can meet later.

I’m so excited meeting him.

7^th August

I was very nervous when I got on the plane this morning.

I can’t stop thinking about him.

I’m on the plane now, typing on my laptop.

I hope that I could see him soon.

8^th August.

We departed at the airport then we took a bus to G hotel.

As Gerine’s father had a close relationship with the hotel’s owner, they gave us a room with 2 king sized bed and nice lavatory with discount.

For this kind of luxury, I don’t even have to pay, Gerine’s father, a successful business man decided to pay for us.

This weekend will sure be great.

When he, came and pick us up, I mean Eugene. He sulks when he saw Derrick.

Of course I knew why.

I sat in front with him, while Gerine and Derrick sat behind.

Gerine whispered and asked me who that is.

I whispered back “someone.”

Not satisfy, she leaned over and asked Eugene.

Eugene who’s on his temper replied” Just ask her.”

We went Tambun for dinner, in addition to celebrate my birthday.

We ordered crabs, lobsters and a dish of vegetable.

Derrick accidentally squeezed the sauce of the crab and it spread on my face.

I thought this is the best moment t get away and leave Gerine and Derrick alone, so, I pulled Eugene out and made an excuse of getting wet tissues from his car.

Derrick said thousands of sorry to me which had made me easier to get away, then I reminded him, it’s a tie.

After cleaning my face, I asked Eugene why was he so quiet just now, coz he usually get along with my friends well.

He answered” Nothing”

I of course do not believe it, so I asked whether he is unhappy with Derrick’s appearance.

He said nothing.

I took his hands and link my arms to his. Maybe he felt better then, he asked” Why didn’t you tell me about him?”

“Course not. You’re a jealous pot, anything could happen through the phone if I told you. You need my comfort when you get to know about him.” I said. As I always knew he’ll not be happy if I get to know a guy.

“Yeah. Problems solve.” He leaned over and kissed on my lips. We kissed, twice.

“We smell like sea foods!” I joked.

I then told him my plans. Then we headed back to the restaurant.

I cannot believe my eyes.

Derrick’s opening a crab for Gerine.

I felt sparks between them.

They glanced on each other, then look at the crabs and lobsters on their plates shyly, and then they continued eating.

I walked in with Eugene as if we haven’t seen anything.

I winked at Gerine; she received it and then blushed.

That’s the feeling when someone’s in love.

When we went back to the hotel, I made a quick exit out the room and asked her what I had missed.

She said Derrick had offered to open the crab for her after Eugene and I went outside.

She of course did not refuse coz she’s to shy to refuse.

That was their first time face to face talking, coz Derrick and Gerine had only chat through SMS or MSN.

She said “Thanks” after recovering from her shyness. And what happened after that was I had just seen.

Eugene promised to pick us for some shopping tomorrow.

9^th August

I sneaked away with Derrick when Eugene’s buying tickets without Gerine’s noticing.

I asked how Derrick feels towards Gerine, he answered shyly with his head down the floor “Erm…She’s always there when I practiced. We chat, I fell in love when she sneaked in the music room one day, she thought I was concentrating on my music, but I was not, I was thinking about a girl Clarence (DERRICK’S SENIOR) told me about a girl who will always peeped trough the key hole when I was practicing, and there she was.”

I told him to take the move first. He don’t have to tell Gerine that he love her straight to be with her, but he can choose to do something which can make Gerine felt that he is in love with her. Even Gerine’ll be too shy if Derrick tells her straightly, it’ll happen to be the same to Derrick too.

I gave Derrick a hint before meeting up with Gerine and Eugene.

Eugene stern at when he saw me showing up with Derrick, I quickly linked my arms with his and headed in front of Gerine and Derrick to the cinema.

I explained to him, he then accepts it with a kiss on forehead.

We watched horror film; Eugene suddenly patted on me and pointed beside us.

After the movie, they dare not hold hands.

We then went to Starbucks and played Truth or Dare.

I Dared Derrick to hold hands with Gerine from then on.

Then, I said that I was tired and left them shopping in the mall.

Eugene stayed with me.

As usual, just for the aroma of coffee, we left for coffee at Coffee Bean.

We ordered the coffee we can afford and shared a cup while chatting.

When we went back to the hotel I reminded Derrick about my Dare, he took it and hold hands with Gerine.

Gerine can’t help to dream about it, and now it’s become reality.

I took a shot with my camera of them holding hands.

We had fish porridge dinner. Before that, we managed to take a cable car up Penang Hill.

10^th August

Eugene finally came up with my birthday present.

He asked me not to open it until I got back.

We spend our morning at Kek Lok Si, Snake Temple and some hawker place.

Gerine and Derrick ate various kind of food they had never tried, such as Nasi Dalcha, nice BBQ pork satay, delicious laksa and some Chinese, Indians and Malays keropok.

They can both eat. We stopped at most hawkers which Eugene and I’d always eat.

We went to Batu Ferringhi beach in the afternoon.

It’s hot, but luckily we found a nice spot under the tree.

I asked Gerine and Derrick to try surfing with Eugene.

It’s so funny when they both fell from the boards at the same time, overlapping each other.

Derrick coughed sands out from his mouth.

Disgusting but funny.

It’s fun getting wet and together, especially with my beloved- Eugene.

Eugene’s mood’s quite alright today.

We build “Body- castle” too!

Eugene and I buried Gerine and Derrick with beach sand.

I saw them holding hands under the sand.

We played Kiss and Promise then on the beach.

We used slipper to turn, some sand flew into Gerine’s eyes, and Derrick helped her by blowing the sands out of her eyes.

It was so dramatically -stupid, I thought.

How can the sand come out from the eyes by blowing it.

Just wink la. Anyway, it’s quite a romantic move.

Derrick dared me a kiss with Eugene, so we kissed.

Eugene caught some sand between my hair; he knew I hate getting things on my hair, so he helped me out by cleaning it for me.

I love it, when he plays with my hairs.

Eugene took his turn to dare Gerine kissing Derrick for a minute.

But we would like to see them kissing.

We timed them; however they kissed for 1 minute and 33 sec.

Gerine finished kissing, breathless.

Just like me, when I first kissed.

But both of them love it.

Evening arrives and we’ve to pack to go back.

I bear hugged with Eugene,

Another challenge between Eugene and I.

I promised to come back to Penang on December holidays.

Gerine kept asking me about Eugene and I.

Thanks a lot to Derrick to pull her over when she asked me the 100^th question.

I slept on the plane and woke up finding Gerine sleeping in Derrick’s arms.

11^th August

I opened Eugene’s gift immediately when I got home.

It’s a heart shaped card board paste with a picture we snapped last year by the beach in front and a picture of him at the back.

He wrote “Think of me.” Under his picture.

I phoned him quickly.

He thought I hate that gift when I laughed at him, but I told him that I‘ll think of him.

Satisfy, he said he had to go back group studying with his friends, then I heard one of his pals shouted “Is that Ead-?”

It’s Wayne, Eugene’s best buddy.

I told Eugene to pass the phone to Wayne, being forced, he passed it real slow.

He gets jealous real quick when I talk to guys.

But that’s the way he express his love.

Wayne shouted” Hey, Ead! Why didn’t you come visit me last few days?”

I joked” I was too busy with jealous pot.”

Jealous pot is the nick name we called Eugene.

I heard Eugene’s friend laughing at the nick name.

Then Wayne told me, for secure, Eugene had switched on the loudspeaker to listen to our conversation.

Kakakakaka…

Now his friends know about it and can be making fun of him for a long time.

Embarrassed, he snatched the phone away and said he did better get back to his studies and we ended our conversation.
